Western Sydney Airport Precinct
Connecting the Airport Precinct and delivering on the 30-year Strategic Vision
*This is an artistic impression and is indicative only.
Transport for NSW is delivering billions of dollars’ worth of new services and infrastructure to connect communities, travellers and workers to the new Airport Precinct and unlock growth around it.
We’ve already delivered new infrastructure for the region, such as the Northern Road and Bringelly Road upgrades, and have more work underway on projects that will deliver new and improved connections in the coming years, including:
New bus services to connect Penrith, Liverpool, Campbelltown, Leppington and Mount Druitt to the Airport Precinct
Delivering a new city-shaping Metro that offers a public transport connection for travellers and workers
The new M12 motorway and upgrades to roads in and around the Precinct, which will allow faster journey times and connect the Airport to Sydney’s road network
New active transport links offering inclusive options to connect with the surrounding Precinct and Western Sydney Parklands
As we get closer to the first passenger services landing at Western Sydney International Airport, you will see this new infrastructure coming to life, along with safety improvements on existing roads and new signage to help you get around. Plan your journey here.
In line with our 30-year strategic vision for the Airport Precinct, we’re also planning the next stage of transport improvements that will support growth in the years after the Airport opens. This includes future road upgrades for Fifteenth Avenue, Badgerys Creek Road, Elizabeth Drive and public transport improvements.
