About the M12 Motorway

The Australian and NSW governments are securing a brighter future for Western Sydney’s growing residents, visitors and workers by delivering the new M12 Motorway - a toll free connection to the Western Sydney International (Nancy-Bird Walton) Airport.

The 16 kilometre motorway features two lanes in each direction with capacity for future widening to three lanes.

Major construction started in August 2022 on the West and Central sections between The Northern Road, Luddenham and Duff Road, Cecil Park. We expect the new motorway to be complete by 2026.

Our standard work hours will be between 7am and 6pm from Monday to Friday and between 8am and 6pm on Saturdays. There will be no work on public holidays.
