What pedestrian and cycling connections is Sydney Gateway delivering?
Sydney Gateway will complete construction of over 3 kilometres of new pedestrian and cycling connections in 2024.
The project has already opened over 1 kilometre of new path along the Alexandra Canal, and recently completed two new rest areas that include shelter, a bubbler, bike pump, interpretative signage, integrated feature lighting and seating.
The project has worked closely with peak bodies in the delivery of these new connections, and we appreciate the collaboration in providing positive community outcome.
We will continue to inform path users as new connections become available.
