We understand that our work can be disruptive and will make every effort to minimise impacts where possible. All our work is planned and executed with the community and environment considered thoroughly.

Construction hours
Where possible we schedule our work during standard construction hours: 7am to 6pm Monday to Friday and 8am to 1pm on Saturdays.
There may be circumstances that require us to work outside of these times, particularly when we are working inside the rail corridor. This is necessary to align our work with Sydney Trains trackwork periods during which sections of track are closed and no trains are running, ensuring the safety of our workers.
Minimising impacts
We seek to minimise noise as much as possible and use a range of mitigation measures, including
Turning off machines and equipment when not in use
Using non-tonal reversing beepers on vehicles
Installing noise blankets around our construction sites where appropriate
Staging our work to avoid extended periods of disruption.
We also adhere to strict conditions relating to vibration, dust, safety and waste management.
