Buses replace trains on parts of the T3 Bankstown Line
The T3 Bankstown Line between Sydenham and Bankstown will be closed from 30 September 2024 for up to 12 months while the line is upgraded to metro standards. T3 Bankstown Line closes between Birrong and Campsie for 9 days |
Rozelle Parklands new community facilities
Transport for NSW’s commitment to provide further enhancements to the Rozelle Parklands are underway. On Thursday 19 September, Ford Civil ran a community information session to talk about the construction of the new community facilities. |
Sydenham Bus Layover

Chatswood to Sydenham Metro now open
The Sydney Metro from Chatswood to Sydenham features new Metro stations, including Crows Nest, Victoria Cross, Barangaroo, Martin Place, Gadigal and Waterloo, along with a new underground platform at Central and upgraded platforms at Sydenham. |
Extended 40km/h school zone at St Peters Public School from 14 August 2024
We’re extending the 40km/h school zone at St Peters Public School to include Campbell Street between Florence Street and Princes Highway at St Peters.
The school zone will now extend from 10 metres east of Florence Street, to 30 metres west of Princes Highway to improve safety for students and the local community.
Sydney Gateway opened September 1, 2024
Sydney Gateway opened on 1 September 2024. The final stage of the project is the connection to the wider motorway network at St Peters Interchange. |
