The Minister for Transport has asked the Independent Pricing and Regulatory Tribunal (IPART) to determine appropriate maximum fares for Opal public transport services until 30 June 2028.

The Parramatta Road Urban Amenity Improvement Program (PRUAIP) is a $198 million initiative by the NSW Government to improve open space and active transport links along the Parramatta Road corridor.

We are collaborating with Strathfield Council to deliver improvements along Parramatta Road as part of this program.

Across August and September, there will be temporary bus stop changes in place for Victoria Road and Roberts Street in Rozelle. There will also be changes to buses servicing Sydney Airport Domestic routes at Mascot.

Sydney Gateway is working towards completion at the end of 2024. From late 2023 you will start to see traffic switches onto our new road connections.

We're seeking feedback from the community about the proposed Oxford Street East Cycleway. We're proposing a new cycleway, separated from vehicles, on Oxford Street between Taylor Square and the entrance to Centennial Park, known as Paddington Gates.

How can we make walking and bike riding more attractive and accessible to you, your family and broader community? What improvements to public spaces are important to you when moving around the area, either on foot, a mobility device, a pushbike, with children?

Beginning at Moodie Street in the north and ending at Gordon Street in the south, we are proposing a number of improvements to the network to make it easier and safer for people to ride their bike in Rozelle.

Our latest Community Update outlines some key highlights for the project. Read about our tunnelling progress and future proofing the power supply for the tunnel, how the shared pedestrian and cyclist pathway is taking shape, take part in community survey and more.

The Western Harbour Tunnel is being delivered in two stages. The northern section of the tunnel, Stage 2, will be delivered by Acciona Construction Australia. Stage 2 includes connections from Stage 1 at Cove Street, Birchgrove, to the Warringah Freeway near North Sydney, tunnelling underneath Sydney Harbour and complete tunnel fit-out.

Construction work for the Transport Access Program (TAP) at Turrella Station will result in temporary bus stops closures.

Bayside Council is partnering with Transport for NSW on the Safer Cities: Her Way program, aimed at improving safety in transport hubs for everyone, especially women and gender diverse people.

Sydney Gateway will provide a new, toll-free connection from St Peters Interchange to improve journey times to Sydney Airport, the M5 and Eastern Distributor.

Since our last update, we have achieved a number of milestones on Sydney Gateway. Over the next three months, more changes will be visible on the Project.
