Night work takes place up to 10 nights per month in various locations along the freeway. Generally, night work takes place in locations where limited construction work can take place during the day when all freeway traffic lanes are open and being used by vehicle traffic.
Weekend work takes place from Friday night to Monday morning, and on long weekends from Thursday or Friday night to Monday or Tuesday morning. Over the weekends, we make productive use of lower traffic volumes in Sydney to set up road closures and complete as much work as we can over the weekend, expediting the overall project work schedule.

In October 2025, we will be carrying out day and night work over three weekends on the Warringah Freeway, Falcon Street shared user bridge and the Miller Street southbound on ramp, Cammeray. This will speed up the work program and reduce overall impact to the surrounding community. We will be carrying out weekend work in the Northern precinct on the following dates:

In October 2025, we will be continuing consecutive weekend day and night work along the freeway and intersections in North Sydney and Neutral Bay, to speed up the work programme and reduce our overall impact to the surrounding community.
We will be carrying out weekend work in the southern precinct on the following dates:
