From 10pm Friday 22 November 2024, access from the Warringah Freeway to the Alfred Street off ramp and southbound access on Alfred Street North from Kurraba Road to Mount Street will be temporarily closed to all traffic until mid-2025, weather permitting. Since mid-July 2024, we have begun landscaping work in North Sydney, east of the Warringah Freeway. At the new landscaping area around Ennis Lane we have replaced around 20 trees that were removed to allow for upgrade work in this area. Landscaping work will continue progressively across the Warringah Freeway Upgrade project area until scheduled completion in 2026. We recognise the value the North Sydney community places on its natural landscapes, heritage features and open space. We are continuing to work w
