Location: Warringah Freeway northbound from the Sydney Harbour Bridge at Milsons Point
From October 2025, we will be progressively implementing traffic changes and setting up temporary work areas along the freeway northbound lanes. These changes will safely enable work to build the final freeway northbound lane configuration between Milsons Point Station and Falcon Street, North Sydney.
From Saturday 4 October, we will establish a new work area on the Warringah Freeway at Milsons Point. This work area will allow us to safely access the roadway to construct a new gantry and traffic barriers. To do this, we will need to change lane alignments just after the Sydney Harbour Bridge.
Traffic changes:
During the weekday AM peak, drivers travelling northbound will be required to use lanes 1 and 2 for Pacific Highway to access North Sydney.
Use lanes 2 and 3 to continue northbound towards Chatswood and Epping (no access to Falcon Street/Military Road northbound exit).
Use lane 3 only to access the Military Road exit to Mosman.
At all other times outside the weekday AM peak, lane 4 can also be used to continue northbound towards Chatswood and Epping.
Motorists are advised to plan ahead, slow down and take caution while adjusting to the new traffic arrangements.
