Project timeline

The John Holland CPB Contractors Joint Venture is very proud to be able to deliver the Rozelle Interchange Project. The contract to design and construct the Rozelle Interchange was awarded and the Joint Venture mobilised quickly to begin site establishment in early 2019. Tunnelling on the project began ahead of schedule in November 2019 and the Project has since added a further 21 roadheaders to excavate the tunnels.

The Project will induct over 10000 people by opening completion of the interchange and will leave a lasting legacy long into the future.

    Mod 3 - Iron Cove Ventilation Underground Approved to allow for under grounding ventilation at Iron Cove

  • October 2020

    22nd roadheader begins tunnelling at Iron Cove Link

  • July 2021

    Tunnel Mechanical & Electrical fitout begins

  • Late 2023

    Rozelle Interchange opens to traffic
